Barnard, of Blooming Grove, was born on August 26, 1927 in Cedar Grove, the daughter of Albert and Emma Reuss Rosenberger. She married William H. Barnard and together they raised 2 children, Anthony and Cindy. Frances worked at Union County High School for many year in the cafeteria. She was a member of St. Michael Church, and former member of St. Bridgett’s Catholic Church in Liberty, where she had served as a Eucharistic minister and supported many church activities. In her spare time, Frances loved gardening-especially flowers, and sewing. On Wednesday, August 23, just 3 days short of her 90th birthday, she passed away at her residence.Those surviving who will cherish Frances’ memory include her children, Anthony (Lynn) Barnard of Brookville, and daughter Cindy McElfresh of Connersville; 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great, great-grandchildren; siblings, Fred Rosenberger of Brookville, Mary Hoffman of Brookville, Marge Senefeld of Florida, and John Rosenberger of Brookville. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William, and an infant daughter, Sharon.Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. Rosary will be recited at 10:15 and Father Sean Danda will officiate the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Born November 5, 1923 in Hazard, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Eli & Alvida (Lockard) Moore. On April 15, 1941 she became the wife of Hubert Mullins, and he preceded her in death on April 5, 1985. A homemaker, she was a member of the Plum Grove Church. In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing, reading, and crafts, and made most of her children’s clothing. Survivors eight children and their spouses, Roy L. (Mary) Mullins of Metamora, Indiana, Ray (Paulette) Mullins of Brookville, Indiana, Laverne Metcalf of Brookville, Indiana, Walter (Nancy) Mullins of Metamora, Indiana, John (Donna) Mullins of Brookville, Indiana, Ellar (James) Sandlin of Brookville, Indiana, Naomi (Jimmy) Richardson of Laurel, Indiana, Jewell (Johnny Richardson of Laurel, Indiana; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Scenters of Irvine, Kentucky .In addition to her parents & husband, Hubert, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Callie Kuehn, Catherine Gamble and Bessie Lovely; a brother John Moore; a son-in-law, Clarence Metcalf; five grandchildren, Brittany Dennison, Jeremy Mullins, Tina Marie Mullins, Justin Mullins, and Cindy Lou Mullins.Family & friends may visit from 3 until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville.Pastor Tom Marshall, will officiate the funeral services on Monday, August 21, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.
